个人简介(About the speaker):

Dr. X. Yun is a Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London, U.K.. His main research interests, in respect of which he has published over 10 SCI journal papers, lie in the areas of structural testing, numerical modelling and development of design guidance for steel structures, aluminium alloy structures and composite structures. He has participated as a main investigator in two European projects: i) High Strength Long Span Structures (HILONG), and ii) Stronger Steels in the Built Environment (STROBE) with an aim to develop accurate design methods that enable the benefits of high strength steels to be maximized.
