个人简介(About the speaker):

Dr. Y. F. Hu is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Chinese National Engineering Research Centre for Steel Construction (Hong Kong Branch). He received his Master’s Degree at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with an award of the K.K. Choy Scholarship. After gaining one year consultant experience in an international consultancy company in Hong Kong involved in design of high-rise buildings, he re-joined the University to pursuit his research study and got his Doctoral Degree in advanced structural engineering and modern steel construction technology in 2019. His research interests focus on structural performance of steel tubular structures, effects of manufacturing processes onto steel members, and welding in steel structures.
