内容摘要Abstract: 

Topology optimization has shown great success in various engineering fields, particularly for structural mechanics, acoustics, and fluid dynamics.

However, its application to the design of electromagnetic systems, especially those involving metallic structures and multiple objectives, remains challenging. In this work, we employ a density-based topology optimization approach to design metallic structures, such as antennas and decoupling networks for closely spaced antenna arrays. To address the difficulty of achieving binary designs with high performance, we formulate an optimization problem taking multiple objectives into account that simultaneously maximizes transmitted energy and minimizes reflected energy at the antenna ports. The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is used to solve Maxwell's equations, and gradients of the objective function are computed using the adjoint-field method. Nonlinear filters are used to impose minimum-size control. Selected optimized structures are fabricated and experimentally validated, demonstrating excellent agreement with simulations and confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method.

陆攀,中山大学信息与计算科学本科,英国伦敦国王学院计算机硕士和通信博士,目前在瑞典于默奥大学从事博士后研究。主要研究方向为计算电磁学,拓扑优化,时域有限差分法(FDTD),微波成像,信号处理,天线,并行计算。在天线与传播领域期刊和会议如IEEE TAP等发表文章多篇,参与欧洲多项基金项目UK EPSRC,EU HORIZON,瑞典eSSENCE、VR等。
