内容摘要Abstract: 

I will present the near-field radiative energy transfer between two separated parallel plates: graphene supported by a substrate and a magneto-optic medium. I will first discuss the scenario in which the two plates have the same temperature. An electric current through the graphene gives rise to nonequilibrium fluctuations and induces energy transfer. Both the magnitude and direction of the energy flux can be controlled by the electric current and an in-plane magnetic field in the magneto-optic medium. This is due to the interplay between the nonreciprocal photon occupation number in the graphene and nonreciprocal surface modes in the magneto-optic plate. Furthermore, I will report that a tunable thermoelectric current can be generated in the graphene in the presence of a temperature difference between the two plates.

唐高民博士2012年于电子科技大学获学士学位,2016年从香港大学获博士学位(师从王健教授)。博士毕业后曾在香港大学王健教授研究组,新加坡国立大学王建生教授组和瑞士巴塞尔大学物理系C. Bruder教授研究组进行博士后研究。研究方向包括量子输运,超导和近场热辐射等。唐高民博士在 Physical Review Letters、ACS Photonics, Physical Review Research、Physical Review B和Physical Review Applied 等期刊发表文章20篇。
