Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC) is established to bring technological innovation in energy and power as well as to ensure energy security through research and development. BEPRC works to seek innovative solutions to meet the needs in energy and power. It provides incubation for researchers through funding and research space to try out new solutions as well as link them with investors – both domestic and foreign – to disseminate their findings in Bangladesh and throughout the globe. 

The vision of BEPRC is to provide the intellectual leadership to seek innovative solutions for efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable development of Bangladesh’s energy and power infrastructure. The mission of BEPRC is to The Council will provide the platform to attract experts worldwide, and help to create in-country expertise through scientific collaboration.  It will strengthen and mobilize research capabilities at universities, public/private research organizations, and industry practitioners as well as assist individual entrepreneurs to develop applicable technologies and systems for the development of the energy and power sector. 

The council would encourage and coordinate public and private research institutions in carrying out research in the field of Power & Energy; Establishment of research & testing laboratories. Capacity building of researchers through necessary training and higher education; Establish and Maintain close relationship with local and international research institutions on energy and power; arrange seminars, symposiums, workshops to disseminate the results of research activities & its publications etc. 

简历

Mr. Azfar Inteha is an Assistant Engineer in Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC). He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2014. After completing B.Sc., he worked as an Electrical Engineer in a power generation company. Later he joined at Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd (DPDC) as an Assistant Engineer. Lately, he was posted in BEPRC on attachment and has been servicing here till now. In addition, he is doing M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in BUET. He currently resides in Dhaka.
