This talk presents design and control of various hydraulic robots developed in my lab ( humanoidsystems.org ) for 15 years aiming at field applications. The robots include hydraulic manipulators, biped/quadruped robots, all-terrain rovers, and water-hydraulic manipulators, which are all equipped with joint torque servo to realize desired impedance with surrounding environments
个人简介(About the speaker):
Sang-Ho Hyon received the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University, Japan, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2002. From 2002 to 2004, he was a Research Associate and Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, Japan. From 2005 to 2010, he was a Researcher at JST ICORP, and at ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories, Japan. He is currently a Professor of the Department of Robotics, Ritsumeikan University, Japan. His research interests include dynamical systems, motion control theory, hydraulic actuators, and their application to humanoid and field robots.
