In this talk, we discuss the numerical computation for unique continuation of two dimensional elliptic equations, which can be potentially applied to inverse problems regarding information reconstruction with local interior measurements. The conditional stabilities of unique continuation of harmonic functions in two dimensions and that along an analytic curve will be discussed. Stable numerical computations of classical strong unique continuation for two dimensional elliptic equations can then be realized by reconstruction of single layer potential and proper regularization based on the conditional stability, in order to deal with the ill-posedness. The error estimation of the algorithm is discussed and illustrated by numerical examples. The present method can also provide an indicate function to evaluate the reliable region of reconstruction.

 

主讲人简介: 

陈瑜,上海财经大学数学学院讲师,本科及博士毕业于复旦大学,曾在复旦大学数学博士后流动站、加拿大菲尔兹数学研究所进行博士后研究,2019年至今在上海财经大学数学学院工作。研究领域为数学物理反问题及计算,主要涉及基于内部测量的椭圆方程解的重构,基于部分测量的动力系统参数识别等。曾获国际工业数学论坛2018海报奖,2020年上海市自然科学二等奖(第三获奖人)等。
