讲座内容:

    Smart sensing is used for monitoring and control mechanisms in a wide variety of environments including resource exploration, smart grids, battlefield reconnaissance, and a great number of science applications. Digital twin refers to a digital replica of physical assets, processes and systems that can be used for various purposes. The digital representation provides both the elements and the dynamics of how an Internet of things device operates and lives throughout its life cycle. In this talk, some Mechatronic projects conducted at the University of Adelaide will be discussed and demonstrated.

简介：

   Dr Ley Chen studied Mechatronics at Flinders University of South Australia and received his Ph.D. in 2004. He is senior lecturer and Mechatronics coordinator of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Adelaide.

    The key areas of his work include Smart Materials and Structures, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligent Systems. He has published over 100 refereed scientific papers and 1 patent. His Scopus h-index is currently 11. He has been a keynote speakers for many international conferences. He is a member of both American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAC) and Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
