内容摘要Abstract:

Controllers are used to maintain control, stability, precision, and automation in various systems, making them essential components in industries ranging from micro-manufacturing and aerospace to healthcare and consumer electronics along with vibration and flutter control. However, conventional controller consumes huge control current to drive the actuator. The system development cost are also high. To overcome this, an active zero-power controller is proposed. The control current of the zero-power system converges to zero during its stable operation and, thus, saves the energy. On the other hand, low cost displacement sensor can be used. Zero-power control system is realized by using hybrid magnet consisting of a permanent magnet for providing bias flux and an electromagnet for stabilization. Moreover, PV cell and piezoelectric material can also be used to make the system self-sufficient. This lecture will encompass zero-power controller, modification of zero-power controller, and the development of controller with self-sufficient system
