内容摘要Abstract:

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) has emerged as a highly promising solution for the future of communication systems, offering intelligent and efficient coverage. However, addressing the capacity limitations of RIS remains a significant challenge. Another critical aspect is the sensing capability of RIS, which plays a pivotal role in comprehending environmental information and enabling smart coverage. This has led to the development of integrated radar and communication RIS systems, combining the functionalities of both domains.

In this talk, we will delve into the development of a multi-diverse metasurface, showcasing its high-capacity for fast wide-angle sensing and through-wall imaging. This cutting-edge technology offers remarkable versatility, allowing for enhanced situational awareness in challenging environments. Additionally, we are thrilled to share our latest breakthroughs in designing a programmable reflective surface that boasts a remarkable wideband performance. Our innovative approach enables a 50% record bandwidth, pushing the boundaries of RIS capabilities and paving the way for unprecedented communication efficiency. Furthermore, we will demonstrate the integration of RIS with state-of-the-art computer vision-based algorithms. By combining the power of RIS with advanced vision techniques, we propose a truly intelligent and adaptive smart coverage solution
