2000年9月-2007年3月于东北大学分别获得学士和硕士学位。2010年10月获香港城市大学电子工程系博士学位。2007年3月至2007年8任香港城市大学助理研究员。2010年3月至2010年6月任美国马里兰大学电子与计算机工程系访问学者。2010年11月至2011年11月工作于加拿大温莎大学电器与计算机工程系任博士后研究员。2012年3月-2018年12月任哈尔滨工业大学深圳研究生院计算机科学与技术学院副教授、博士生导师。2019年至今任哈尔滨工业大学(深圳)计算机科学与技术学院正教授、博士生导师。主要研究方向为多媒体数据挖掘、机器学习、视链学习及优化、服务计算等。自2007年起,参与并完成了多项国家自然科学基金项目、香港政府RGC研究项目、美国自然科学基金资助项目和加拿大自然科学与工程研究项目。在《IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks》、《IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering》、《IEEE Transactions on Cybnetics》、《IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics》、《IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing》、《Pattern Recognition》等国际顶级期刊发表论文50余篇。获得广东省自然科学二等奖、深州市自然科学二等奖各1项。目前担任Neurocomputing、Pattern Analysis and Applications、Neural Computing & Applications等国际期刊副主编。
