PERSONAL PROFILE
 
Prof Yu Zhou has authored or co-authored more than 300 technical papers, including 150 archival journal articles, with more than 20 published in prestigious Journal of Fluid Mechanics. Two articles have been placed in the TOP 1% MOST CITED ARTICLES within the field in 2005 and 2007 by THOMSON according to Essential Science IndicatorsSM. His work has received more than 2000 ISI citations. Received a number of awards, including 2003 VSJ Best Paper Award Medal awarded by the Visualization Society of Japan, recipient of the prestigious Chinese national “1000 Scholar Scheme” in 2010, recipient of 2013-2014 Distinguished Visiting Scientist Scheme from CSIRO (Australia), and one of 20 elected Fellows of the Australasian Fluid Mechanics Society. He serves as Associate Editor for AIAA Journal since 2015.
