主讲嘉宾简介：

Professor Isabelle Skinner is from Australia and is the Director of Charles Darwin University Office of Learning and Teaching. She was previously the Associate Dean Research and Research Training for the Faculty of Engineering, Health Science and the Environment at Charles Darwin. Isabelle has a senior executive MBA from Melbourne Business School and completed studies in China and Europe as part of the program. Her PhD is in Public Health, she has expertise in social marketing for health. 

讲座内容简介：

In this talk, she will give a brief overview of current academic research on innovation and how Australia is working to transform its university sector from one of research intensive to fostering innovation. She will talk about the Commonwealth Science Research Organization (CSIRO) program ONPrime and how the government is working with researchers to foster entrepreneurism and the ability to negotiate commercial partnerships to increase the impact of research in science, technology and health. She will discuss two education projects that reflect the strategy 1. The development of a Memory MOOC and 2. The Virtual Health Precinct and one health care projects emojifit Diabetes and finally she will talk about teaching innovation for new Masters of Innovation in Tertiary Education.
